------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to the Has Bean Newsletter on the 15th of February 2006. As much as we love selling you things this newsletter is a little different. Sure we have new beans and if you want to take a look go to www.hasbean.co.uk/products_new.php but thats not the reason for the newsletter, read on.
New Addition Notice new addition and not additions. The Has Bean website has grown, grown not with just more products (although there are lots of new products). We want to share with you our passion and our love of coffee. We do this by roasting and posting our wonderful wares to you. But we thought we could do a little more. So we have, by creating www.coffeeinfo.co.uk . Here we have a platform to share with you all thing coffee.
1.Coffee Articles www.coffeeinfo.co.uk/index.php?name=PagEd&file=index&page_id=41
Here you will find info and articles we have written. We have a lot of these on file and they will be added as time goes on. Want a topic covering? Then let us know and we will see what we can do. 2. Coffee Search www.coffeeinfo.co.uk/index.php?module=Pagesetter&func=viewpub&tid=3&pid=1
Has Bean Steve gets intelligence. You may have seen our early attempt at a coffee assistant where you answered questions we asked and it recommended a coffee. Well this time you ask the questions and it gives you the answers. Take a look and see if you can find your perfect brew. 3.Tasteing Notes www.coffeeinfo.co.uk/index.php?name=PagEd&file=index&page_id=53
Every time we try a sample of a coffee to add to the range we complete a cupping sheet. This cupping sheet give the coffee a score and we write down out thoughts about it. Until now this would sit in a folder in the roastery, but we thought it would be good to share with you the reasons for buying the coffee. 4.Photo Gallery www.coffeeinfo.co.uk/index.php?module=Photoshare&func=viewallfolders

Frequently asked questions from storing coffee to ethical policy, check here. 2. News Postage We have sent things second class mail for a while. We try to save you postage costs money, and as the coffee is so fresh it gives it chance to rest after roasting. But before Christmas we did a trial of sending first class and found that items got there quicker but more importantly safely. So we have decided to send all items first class. But the good news for you is we have decided to do this at no extra cost to you, we bear all the extra costs. Thanks for your support, and I hope you enjoy our gift, giving a little bit back to you.
